I received a follow up from Joe White at RJDJ regarding a Pure Data midi note solution I posted about previously:
I saw your blog post about handling midi note data in pure data – http://kemptonmooney.com/2010/09/pure-data-midi-note-off-solution/
I realise this was a while ago for you but I’ve been constantly running into the same problem. I like [...]
* Connect both Mac, using a standard network cable
* Open up System Preferences > Network

Last night I had a little down time after a visit from my cousin, and decided to create a synthesizer using pure data. I put together an additive synth using two wave generators. There are various controllers for wave form (including a table option where you can draw the wave form), how the waves [...]
The new synth is up and running. Designed with Pure Data, it is monophonic and uses two oscillators with choices for a variety of wave forms. It also has a like flanger, with feedback and delay. It is based on a Casio CZ emulator I came across a few years back. A fun little [...]

I’ve been really pleased with using Simple Pie to create a couple pages that aggegate RSS feeds. I was even able to create a feed using Yahoo Pipes and feed that to a page. The value of Simple Pie is the amount of control ti gives you over formatting the feeds, and it is super [...]
Here’s a sampler built in Pure Data. It allows for the playing of two samples at a time, and multiple effects can be applied to each sample individually. Fun for messing around with, and for performing.
Here are a couple more monome patches:
Monome emulator for a computer keyboard (in Max/MSP)
Monome 8 step sequencer (in Max/MSP)
Here are two different drum machines written in Pure Data.
Blinker is an app designed in Pure Data for the monome. It creates a bunch of light patterns that can be controlled through a variety of toggles.
