Found an interesting article on net worth on Forbes recently. The article gives a formula for calculating the amount of the US population with a given net worth. I grabbed the most recent US population (307mm), and created a table below of the percent of Americans with a net worth over a million. The scale has probably changed a little given the recent ecomonic conditions, but still found the trend interesting nonetheless that about 1 out of every 100 Americans is a millionaire now. If anybody has a better calculation, let me know…
