Over the holidays I put together a cd for my parents of audio projects I have worked on in the past year that would not hurt their ears (ie no booming drums and hip hop/house basslines). Since I had already aggregated them together, I thought I would toss them online.

This weekend I successfully read through the first major two portions, ensuring linear character development, plot development, and coherence. It felt much better than I anticipated, which is going to make the next steps harder.

The draft has now reached the length I want at 50k words and is now has well over 100 footnotes. My next goal is to have at least one footnote on every page, keeping the manuscript in the 120-150 page range.
